Should I Repair my crack or replace the glass?

 

Unless it’s a small tiny stone chip, we suggest a replacement…. Your windscreen is a structural part of your vehicle!
We don’t do repairs, but if you give us a call we can put you on to someone that does.

 

 

Can I drive straight after my windscreen has been replaced?

 

No - We the screen needs to sit for a couple of hours to allow the glue to completely dry.

 

 

how do i pay?

 

We are a retail service - we do require payment on the spot with either cash or an EFT transfer. Most insurance companies will reimburse you after payment if you have free windscreen in your policy.

 

 

how long does it take?

 

Between 20 mins and 1 hour, depending on the size and if there are camera and rain sensors to be fitted.

 

 

Will you have my windscreen in stock? If not, how long does it take to order?

 

We carry around 250 different glasses at a time so it’s not often that we don’t have it in stock, but if we don’t have yours in stock then we can get it in within a couple of days, sometimes even overnight.

 

What details will you ask me to supply a quote?

We will need to know the year, make and model of your car, we will also ask if you have an ADAS Camera, or a rain sensor.

The ADAS camera is generally a black box attached to the top of the screen near your revision mirror

If your wipers automatically come on and off, then you probably have a rain sensor fitted somewhere..

Sometimes we ask you send us an image of your car so we can help you work out if these parts apply or not.

 

What does re-calibration mean?

When a windscreen with a ADAS camera is fitted – the camera will need to be re–calibrated to the computer in the vehicle. This needs to be performed at a dealership, so it may be easier to meet at the dealer.


What if it’s raining?

Unfortunately we can not replace your screen in the rain, however we can get it done if your car is in a dry, undercover area. If you don’t have access to an undercover area then we can reschedule, or you can drop your car into our Ballina Workshop for the a few hours.


Are your screens genuine or after-market?

We will supply an after-market screen unless you specify otherwise or if there is not one available for your vehicle. If we do need to get one in from the manufacturer, we can and we will supply at the list price.


do you offer a warranty?

Our glass has a 12 month manufacturer warranty and all workmanship has a lifetime warranty if there was no pre existing conditions.
